VPI Canadian Equity Pool - Q2 2025

Putting Your Money To Work

This quarter, the portfolio management team used volatility as an opportunity to put your money to work, building ownership in three of the pool's existing holdings. At the time, these three tech giants were trading at what they saw were compelling valuations, giving a strong entry point. Since adding to these businesses, they have each grown significantly, with Alphabet, Microsoft, and OpenText returning +12%, +30%, and +13% respectively.

The portfolio manager also upgraded the portfolio by purchasing two new businesses, Amazon and Manulife. Check out our Q2 2025 update video to see how they have fared since acquiring them!
